Anne Fournier

Anne Fournier

Anne Fournier is a lawyer and a researcher. She has more than fifteen years of working experience on childhood and family. She published several articles related to these fields of interest and worked at a book (2002) on family mediation. During the last decade, Anne Fournier contributed to the design and implementation of a special youth protection system dedicated to the Atikamekws children and their families. This work led to the introduction of Article 37.5 within the Youth Protection Act on June 21 2001. This Act makes it possible for the Indigenous Communities to reach an agreement with the Quebec Government in order to apply a special youth protection system in a particular territory and for an identified population.
