The advisory committee brings to the partnership an intellectual contribution, in addition to playing a role in monitoring and ensuring the implementation of the project’s calendar. It is composed of three members: Mr. John Borrows, an international leader recognised with his studies of interactions between indigenous cultures and legal challenges with Western law; Mrs. Edith Cloutier, an anishnabe leader with a rich experience of partnership between indigenous organizations, the academic world, the private sector and the associations; and Mr. Pierre Noreau from the University of Montreal, a prominent researcher with a long experience in leading and managing funded international research programs including indigenous peoples ones.
