The Second Team Meeting of the Legitimus Project will be held at the beginning of next week (on October 19th, 20th and 21st), in Montreal. This meeting aims to fulfill four objectives : present the state of our research and its output as we reach our mid-course milestone (1), step back and reflect on the practical, cultural, and methodological challenges of research with Indigenous people on Indigenous law (2), highlight the work of junior researchers (3) and plan for the next steps of the project (4).
The meeting will offer the opportunity to all researchers and junior researchers present to attend a round table, methodological workshop, and several conferences. It will be held at the same time as the Junior Researchers's Symposium on the third day.
On October 21st, this Symposium "Internormativity and Pacifying Social Relations: Reflections on the Management of Legal Pluralism in Matters of Land, Family and Justice", will give participants the opportunity to attend an expressively wide range of conferences.
In the days and weeks following the Meeting and Symposium, videos of the confences and interviews with some participants will be published here, on Legitimus.ca.
